BentSense: Tossing aside common sense and using some warped form of judgment, most usually based on, but not limited to, the idea of political correctness and/or the desire to side-step any personal responsibility. (TheWriteJerry)

Example -

Common Sense: If banging yourself on the head with a hammer hurts, then stop banging yourself on the head with a hammer.

BentSense: If banging yourself on the head with a hammer hurts, sue the hammer manufacturer and reseller, and pressure the government to form a committee to study the manufacturing process of hammers and the role of hammers in society, and then pass a law restricting the sale and use of hammers as well as requiring hammer manufacturers and resellers to post clearly worded warnings on the hammer defining proper and improper use.

BentSense is best viewed using the Firefox web browser. In fact, nearly every site on the web is best viewed with Firefox. Firefox is available for both Windows and Mac OSX. It’s easy to download, install and customize.
