Democrats’ Tat For Limbaugh’s Tit
Forty-one Senate Democrats did what they do best once again — they wasted time.* Instead of doing the real business of governing, they put their collective heads together to get into a war of words with radio show host and political commentator Rush Limbaugh.
Just for the record:
Limbaugh is paid to sling barbs at Congress.
Congress is paid to govern.
So, to be clear:
Limbaugh is doing his job.
Congress is not.
Dear Congress, do some real work for a change.
* Republicans also waste a lot of time, but what they do best is betray the conservative principles of the voters who got them elected.

“Republicans also waste a lot of time, but what they do best is betray the conservative principles of the voters who got them elected.”
You mean like President Bush? LQTM
Feel free to laugh out loud, Scott. I think Bush is the prime example of what I described when it comes to the vast majority of currently elected Republicans. Except for holding firm on taxes, Bush has become overly “compassionate” and a whole lot less “conservative.” And yet, McCain — or <> Kerry would have been even worse. This country needs a Reagan-like Republican: somebody the world takes seriously, and who is not afraid to use the veto pen to remain fiscally conservative.
Oh, and I erred when I said that what the Dems do best is waste time. What they really do best is reach into individuals’ pockets and shift their money around to other people.
If the people won’t do it themselves (and by and large neither they or the church are) then I don’t have a problem with the gov’t doing it for them. If more m/billionaires (and I hate to say this next thing) were as focused on charity as Bill Gates seems to be then we’d be a lot better off as a country. All most of them seem to worry about is protecting their assets by electing politicians who will help them out.
