This Chick Is The Bomb!
If Star Simpson (not pictured here) wanted to get featured on BentSense, she would have been better off claiming to be OJ’s long-lost daughter. Instead, she almost got herself shot. Many times. With a lot of bullets. All in the name of “art.”
Art? A sweatshirt with a circuit board, a battery, some wires and flashing lights attached? Looks more like a bomb to me. And to the airport security personal who surrounded her with their guns drawn at Boston’s Logan International Airport.
Star, a 19 year old student at MIT, said she was proud of the shirt (proud of a shirt?) and wanted to show it off.
Ooookaaaayy…
But that doesn’t explain why she was carrying a wad of Play-Doh in her hands. You know, the stuff that could look suspiciously like plastic explosives in the hands of somebody walking around an airport wearing a circuit cord, wires and a battery on her shirt!
Perhaps Star thought she was just so much smarter than us non-MIT students. Well, look who’s the dummy now! She might not have been shot, but she could end up in jail. And she does this in Boston, of all places, the previous target of one very stupid marketing campaign by Comedy Central and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Why not just park a van full of fake explosives in front of Oklahoma City’s new Federal Building, or aim a jet at a Manhattan skyscraper?
Here’s a word of advice for people looking for their 15-minutes of fame: stop doing suspicious things that make you look like a terrorist. All you’re doing is scaring people and one of you is bound to finally get shot. And if you do get shot, then you (if you live) or your family (if you don’t) will end up suing whatever government agency finally got tired of your jokes and took you for a serious threat.

Sucks how idiots seem to get incentives, eh? Ah well, I guess that’s just the natural course of things, and we all know who’s gonna win in the end, right?
