One Of Those Days
In your whole entire life, have you ever had one of those days where everything is perfect? A day that begins after a full night’s sleep, where your body and mind gently awaken without the jolt of a blaring alarm or a loud neighbor? A day where the temperature is just right for wearing your favorite outfit, for a simple breakfast on the patio and a lazy walk through the grass and flowers? A day where all of your relationships are free of conflict and filled with cooperation? Where you hit the game winning homerun, win a shopping spree at your favorite store, and hear the laughter of schoolchildren as they enjoy the wonders of learning? A day where nothing goes wrong, everything goes right, and the world just all makes sense?
Have you ever had that sort of day?
Me neither.
(What - you expected a site called BentSene to say the world just had its perfect day? Okay, here’s a challenge: tell me about your perfect day, not the one you dream about, the one that actually happened, not necessarily for the whole world - that would be impossible - just for you.)

It’s funny, because as I was reading the intro I kept thinking, “No. Never.”
There have been a couple that come closer to perfect than most, though.
Hmm, I started reading this going “Um, no those days don’t come very often.” Then I got down to the bottom and it says “Me neither” so I thought okay, I’m pretty normal then. The photo attached to this post makes me think depression rather than an abundance of positive energy. It’s funny…most people can clearly describe details about their bad days and rarely can define their ‘perfect’ days. What do you think the stats are, is the world mostly negative-thinkers or positive-thinkers?
The almost perfect day I had was when I was a promoter for a Christian concert. I chose the group (one of my favs) and the church I was working for paid for the event. The whole thing was exciting from 3 months out until the day of the concert. Everyday I beat the alarm clock. I could not wait to get into work. The day of the concert was a whirlwind. Just to show you how stoked I was, I lost six pounds during that period because I barely ate. I am not kidding, as soon as the event was over, I was starving! I got to meet my fav singer in the group, put on a huge even that went off perfectly and an experience I shall never forget.
Good new look.
